Course content
|
Introduction to the subject - the importance of cultural and historical heritage. Objectives of the Framework Educational Program for basic education in the context of museum education implemented on the ground of regional or national history museums. Regional museum - history, present, opportunities for cooperation, educational programs. Cooperation with regional museums (will be used in the processing of portfolios and projects, possibly the program for the museum). Excursion - Olomouc History Museum, a regional museum in or near the student's residence.

Learning outcomes
|
After completing the course, students should be able to: - reflect current problems of society related to its relationship to cultural, historical and natural heritage - explain the educational and educational role of museums of national history - use the potential of local history museums in teaching at the 1st grade of elementary school - to clarify the specifics of the cooperation between the museum and the school
After completing the course, students should be able to use and cooperate with the regional museum, or help in creating an educational program for the 1st st. primary school

Interest in regional heritage issues.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio, Seminar Work
Active participation in teaching. Excursion - National History Museum Olomouc, regional museum in or around the student. Each student prepares a portfolio based on the region where they live (history and present of the regional museum, educational programs and cooperation with schools).
