Course content
Physical culture as a part of the development of human culture, its characteristics, structure and function in the life of an individual and society. Subject of kinanthropology, movement, physical activity, physical activity and physical exercises. Movement abilities, their biological basis, structure, determining the level of movement abilities. Movement skills, motor learning, determining the level of movement skills. Basic concepts (performance, efficiency, fitness? health-oriented fitness). Terminology in physical education. Movement activity in the context of health, optimal physical regime of a child, Physical exercises. School physical education, its history, the concept of school physical education in the Czech Republic and abroad, the goals of physical education in the Czech Republic. Bio-psycho-social specifics of physical education of children of younger school age, individual approach. Applied physical education. Application of acquired theoretical knowledge in practice in the context of RVP ZV. Research methods in physical education.

Learning outcomes
Objectives: After completing the course, students should be able to: - understand physical culture as part of the development of human culture, - define kinanthropology as a scientific field, its subject, be familiar with basic terminology and use it in other related disciplines in the field of physical education, - be familiar with the theoretical foundations of the physical education process from the point of view of the relationship between theory and practice, history and anthropomotorics, characterize basic concepts in physical education, - explain the importance of physical exercises for individual health and know the consequences of hypokinesia - understand the issue of children's physical activity and its specifics in the context of a healthy lifestyle, - be familiar with the methodology of research in physical education.
