Course content
|
In-person teaching: knowledge of the conditions of educational activities of children and youth and the importance of the educator in the process of its organization; application of selected methods of stimulation and activation of children and pupils in practice, comparison of the organization of the educational process in educational institutions in the participating countries; development of educator's competences in the field of activation and initiation of children and pupils in the educational process. Virtual lessons within MS Teams: group discussions on the given topic - methods of stimulating the development of biological, psychological and social aspects of the child and promoting the formation of positive relationships with others, the environment and society; discussions in the comparative aspect of universities from Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic; the use of digital tools to stimulate the educational activity of children, pupils and students; presentation techniques.

Learning outcomes
|
The course focuses on understanding the concept of forming positive attitudes towards topics related to a healthy lifestyle and well-being, as well as the role of the educator in this process. The aim of the course is to convey the possibilities of using stimulation and activation methods in the context of the current concept of promoting health and well-being in the school environment. The course will provide knowledge of the possibilities of using digital technologies in these areas. Emphasis is placed on a multidimensional and interdisciplinary approach to the topic and group work. Theoretical topics will be communicated with practitioners, therefore visits to different educational institutions are planned. Mutual working meetings and discussions will allow to compare current international experiences in the field of health education and wellbeing of children, pupils and students. All project participants will be encouraged to adopt a creative pedagogical approach in the use of stimulating and activating methods in shaping positive attitudes of children, pupils and students towards a healthy lifestyle. Participants will solve research tasks in the context of addressing the topic in their home countries and deepen their presentation skills. They will be encouraged to look for ways to innovate the methods used so far. The programme is designed for non-specialist students in bachelor, master and doctoral programmes.
