Course content
Basic themes: 1. Introduction to communicative skills as a complex discipline and possibilities of practical use in pedagogical activities. 2. Framework introduction to basic terms: speech, language, communication, soft skills, essence of social interaction, pedagogical communication, social perception, communication process, vocal professionalism, self-reflection, monologue, dialogue etc.

Learning outcomes
Aims of the subject / students will be able to: Define the basic concepts of communication theory, soft skills and rhetoric, Justify the importance of communicative competence and soft skills in today's society, Specify the types of communication and explain the rules that contribute to effective pedagogical and social communication, To get feedback on own performance through presentations and to improve own verbal and nonverbal expression based on subsequent reflection and self-reflection.

Prerequisites
Presumed competencies: It is a self-development subject. The aim is to develop the student's psychosomatic condition, which means the ability to act authentically and creatively in vocations and other life situations. The point is to understand the play dimension in human behaviour as the basis of authorship. It is done through experience, self-reflection and its own activity shared with other members of the group.

Assessment methods and criteria

Prerequisite for successful completion of the course is at least 80% active participation in seminars, demonstrated by the elaborated personal portfolio. The final output is an improvisation on a given topic, eventually interpretation of a selected model.
