Course content
Basic themes: 1. Basic definition of theoretical approaches. 2. Aims, goals, objectives and role of curriculum. 3. Curriculum theory and goals of national education policy (in national and international perspective). 4. Analyse basic question about national education in the context of curriculum: What educational purposes should the school seek to attain? What educational experiences can be provided that are likely to attain these purposes? 5. How can these educational experiences be effectively organized? How can we determine whether these purposes are being attained?

Aims of the subject / students will be able to: Define different approaches to curriculum theories, Analyse national education policy in the context of curriculum theories, Apply knowledge of curriculum theories to solve the key issues of national and international curricular and educational practice.
