Course content
The theory of achievement tests (types of tests, characteristics of a good achievement test). Achievement test design (suggestion of test exercises, test properties analysis, verification and optimizing of an achievement test, creating a standardized achievement test, classification standards for an achievement test, using tests at school).

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
Students will be informed about the theory of testing and they will learn the principal ways of planning and contructing tests, and of assessing their properties. They will understand the position and the meaning of testing in educational processes, as well as in pedagogical research.
Students will be able to describe and apply the theory and basic didactic test procedures customary in the planning, design and verification of properties didactic test. They will be able to describe the meaning and function of educational tests in educational activities and pedagogical research.
