Course content

Definition of the term pedagogical evaluation. The subject of pedagogical evaluation. Evaluating educational needs. Evaluating education programmes and curriculum evaluation. Textbooks evaluation. Teaching process evaluation. Observation and participation techniques of teaching evaluation. Educational climate evaluation. Educational results evaluation. Non-cognitive results evaluation.

Learning outcomes
|
Students will understand the meaning of educational evaluation for the efficiency of educational processes. They will have the knowledge of the contemporary attitudes towards evaluation in the Czech Republic and elsewhere- They will know the basic methods of evaluation of the educational reality, and they will be informed about the research in this area.
