The course is conceived as an introduction to theories of educational sciences, which is followed by other subjects of professional preparation of future teachers within the framework of additional pedagogical studies. The aim of the course is: - to introduce basic pedagogical/educational concepts (terminology) expressing the structure of thinking about education, - to describe the basic lines of pedagogical thinking as a prerequisite for formulating their own (personal) theory of future teachers.
Upon completion of the course, trainees will be able to: (a) describe and explain the broader reality of education as a general process of forming the personality of an individual in his/her individual and social context through the basic professional terminology of educational sciences (b) characterize education and educational processes in their variability given by individual theoretical concepts (c) construct (reconstruct), formulate and find relevant arguments their own (personal) theory of education. |
