Course content
|
Students learn the technical terminology, the welfare system in this country by Law No. 108/2006 Coll., With forms of family care about the handicapped children, the social and legal protection of children.

Learning outcomes
|
Introduction to the basic terminology of social work and social care, institutions, functions, relation to medical care, demographic development with respect to social issues.
The student is able to understand the basic concepts of social care, control and management system for the organization of social care in the Czech Republic , as well as care for the family and children.

|
General knowledge of social policy.

Student performance
Develop a working group seminar with presentation and processing of essays on an assigned topic.
