Learning outcomes
Aims: At the end of the course students should be able to: " describe general didactics as a scientific discipline and as a teacher tool, " explain the importance of the main / system-forming elements of teaching in the context of society life; " clarify the specifics of individual categories of general didactics and be able to recognize them in the teaching process, " distinguish factors influencing the course of education and pupil's learning according to the possibility of their influence by the teacher / school, " describe the structure and content of individual parts of valid school curriculum documents, " explain the interconnection of designing / planning, implementation and evaluation of learning outcomes in terms of teaching effectiveness; " clarify the basic procedures in designing teaching with emphasis on the importance of pupil motivation; " in the context of current Czech school practice and legislation, explain the functions, types and possibilities of assessing the outcome of teaching.
