Aims: At the end of the course students should be able to: " formulate pedagogy as a science, " define and explain factors of human development, " clarify education as a subject of educational science, " list, characterize and assess the relationships between the basic pedagogical concepts, " explain the aims of education and their relation to the content of education, " analyze the educational process and its stages, " categorize and interpret educational principles.

Students' presence at the lecture is voluntary but they will be tested from the theory taught.
