Course content
Penology, subject, main tasks, sentence and punishment theory, history penological concepts, world and European trends in the prison system, the development concept corrections staff; aspects of the sentence and punishment, criminal procedure and its phases, types of sentences and measures of social protection, social work in pre-criminal proceedings, issues of detention and imprisonment, the perpetrator of crimes, principles of rehabilitation, the prison-care, activities of social worker in the prison, treatment programs for prisoners; postpenitential of care, continuous social welfare agencies, social worker Activity postpenitential in care practices and alternative punishments, their formation, evolution, current trends, probation and mediation mission, objectives and activities of the Probation and Mediation Service of the CR

Learning outcomes
