Pedagogy as a science. Factors influencing human development. Terminology, explanation of the most frequent pedagogical terms and relations. Aims, contents and elements of education. Educational process and its phases. Educational principles and effectivity of the educational process. Personality of a teacher/educator and of a pupil. Educational means. School climate.

Learning outcomes

A summary of the main ideas and resources of pedagogical disciplines in such manner that the students get a good overview of the timely topics in pedagogical science, and so that they would be capable of orientation and application in their work experience. The contents of the subject are formed by the following topical units: 1. Pedagogical science, its characteristics and significance. 2. Education as a subject of pedagogical science. 3.
