Course content
|
Students should be able to work with the basic concepts : speech, language , communication ( verbal, non-verbal / non-verbal , formal, informal) , interaction , social communication , social perception , communication process , educational communication , voice professionalism , interaction style teacher self-reflection, monologue , dialog, assertiveness , pathological modes of communication , conflict . They should be able to explain the concept of communication and justify its relevance in today's society , enumerate and specify different types of communication and analyze rules that contribute to effective social communication. At the same time they should have all the skills to apply the knowledge gained in the evaluation of self expression and goal setting his personal development in this area. The practical part of the training would be through simulated situations to help get feedback about their performance and enable them to improve their verbal skills, nonverbalitu and style of dealing with people .

Learning outcomes
|
As part of the training, students will learn how to integrate their knowledge from social pedagogy, developmental, pedagogical and social psychology. The subject will develop pro-social behaviour, especially in the areas of self-confidence, self-reflection and emotional stability. Fulfilling a task within model situations will develop student's skill in the area of communication, empathy, cooperation and assertiveness. The students will learn how to influence the conduct of a partner in communication in such manner that an optimum result can be achieved. Self-evaluation of the participants will improve by means of supervision of the team and the seminar leader.
Practical training should be for students to develop specific psychosocial abilities and skills necessary for working with people. Students should be able to practically apply knowledge of social communication, social pedagogy, developmental, educational, and social psychology in solving model situations. The practical tasks should develop the student's skills in communication, empathy, cooperation and assertiveness. The course will develop pro-social behavior, particularly in the area of ??personal self-confidence, self-reflection and emotional stability.

Prerequisites
|
Ability to work in a team activity and interest in the chosen field of study, prerequisites for the study of the teaching field.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Analysis of linguistic, Seminar Work
Active participation in seminars. Individual performances (students hand in written preparation - etude, drama, Socratic dialogue, leadership panel discussion) during the course. Independent study of literature.
