Course content
The contents of this subject are as follows: Basic problems in theory of education Ethical and aesthetical education Basic problem of antinomy of education Society and education Theoretical fundaments of multicultural and global education Educational theory from the view of gender theory Theoretical basis of free time education Conceptions of childhood as educational problem

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)

Learning outcomes
Basic dilemmas of the theory of education. Teaching ethics and aesthetics. Society and education. Theoretical background to multicultural and global education. Theoretical background to free time education. Childhood as an educational issue. Gender theory.

Prerequisites
Elementary knowledge of psychology, sociology and pedagogy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Dialog

Self-study of selected topics. Continuous preparation of lessons. Elaborating an essay on a selected topic.
