School systems in educationally developed countries. System of education in the CR. Trends of the EU education policy. Problems and prospects of primary, secondary and tertiary education in Europe. School administration and management in Europe. The role of parents in EU education systems. Education and social justice in OECD countries. The path to a learning society.

After completing the course, students will be able to characterize basic criteria for comparison of school systems; school systém in the CR, educational trends in the EU. Primary, secondary and terciary education in the EU countries. School management within the EU. Curriculum design and evaluation in the member states.
