Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: - Enumerate and characterize methods of human cognition, - Define basic concepts of pedagogical methodology, - Explain and describe the differences between quantitative and qualitative research oriented, - Formulate research problems, questions and hypotheses, - Create a process of quantitative and qualitative research, - Enumerate and characterize the level measurement in educational research, - Selected using statistical methods used in the testing of hypotheses, - Evaluate and interpret quantitative and qualitative research data, - Describe and characterize the ethics of research.
Students will be able to characterize scientific research and its specifics in the social sciences and pedagogy. Will know the basic methods and techniques of data collection, sample design and basic characteristics of descriptive statistics. Students will be able to describe methods of testing of research hypotheses, statistical tests of significance and describe the data on which it can use. He can describe the normal distribution of the data and its properties. He will be able to verify the research hypotheses. He knows how to use correlation analysis in education research. He can apply appropriate graphical representation of data. It is able to write a final research report.
