Basic terminology - social deviations, social pathology, social norms, labelling approach, Pygmalion effect, stigmatization. Mechanisms of social control, socialisation processes disturbances. Social deviations theories.

Work (an essay on a selected social deviant phenomenon - the application of theoretical issues of sociology of social deviation and analysis of selected passages from the recommended literature and a case study of one of the areas of problematic behaviour) of at least 4 standard pages and 3 different sources of information.
