Course content

The creation and development of economic theory. Basic concepts of economic theory. Supply and demand. Market mechanisms. Consumer theory. Company theory. Land, labour and capital market. Market mechanism. Imperfections of the market. Unemployment. Inflation. Monetary policy. Fiscal policy. Pension and social policy. Economic growth and business cycle.

Learning outcomes
|
To explain technical concept, to use technical terminology. To explain basis of market ekonomy. To orientace oneself in frame of main themes of micro and macroeconomy. Gaining knowledges to apply on actual economic situation in Czech republic or abroad.
Graduates will be able to explain the essence of the market economy. Orientate the main topics of microeconomics and macroeconomics. Apply their knowledge to the current economic situation of the Czech Republic respectively other states.
