Course content
Interests and hobbies man in psychological and pedagogical perspective. Interest education - definition, objectives, methods and organizational forms of leisure education. Educational function of the game and its changes in the concepts of historical pedagogy. Controlled the game and its application in achieving educational goals. Specifics of free time in adult and elderly. Intersections of leisure education and social work in theory and practice. The application and importance of leisure activities in selected social service facilities, medical facilities and other institutions outside the education ministry.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: define the concepts of interest, hobbies, leisure education, describe the organizational forms and methods of leisure education define the game and its psychological and pedagogical aspects, clarify the development of the game in a historical context, focusing on teaching concepts, clarify the meaning and peculiarities of leisure activities related to adult and senior population, characterize the specifics of the work of free time pedagogue in social and health institutions and other institutions outside the education ministry.
Students will acquire competence to understand the problems of leisure and educational work in this field.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledges of general pedagogy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Students elaborate analysis of leisure activities for seniors in their homes and comprehensively evaluate this offer. Students select medical, social or other institution (whose focus is primarily non-recreational) and process analysis leisure clients in this institution (ie. Can be a hospital, a home for the elderly, institutions for people with disabilities, prison, community center etc.).
