Course content
Educational influence of leisure - basic terms and their definitions. Historical roots of education in their free time. Definition and subject of leisure education. Methodology of leisure education. The definition and the definition of free time. The function of free time. Factors determining leisure time. Educational activity in leisure time for children and youth, its main goals and specifics. Current trends in leisure education in relation to the changes of the characteristics of the young generation. The natural social environment and leisure. Modern family room as a determining factor of leisure activities for children and youth. Peer group and its role in their free time children and youth. The influence of the characteristics of the local environment on leisure of children and youth. Current concepts profession is free time and its legislative basis. Competence free time pedagogue.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to: define basic concepts of leisure education, explain the historical roots of education in leisure time, characterize the pedagogy of free time as a scientific discipline, specify those aspects of free time to focus on children and youth, characterize the effect of the natural environment for leisure activities for children and youth analyze legislative confirmation profession is free time, describe the competencies of free time pedagogue.
Students will acquire competence to understand the problems of leisure and educational work in this field.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledges of general pedagogy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Students work ongoing tasks to the second consultation (comparison features free time, various authors, independent study research reports on the issue of leisure activities for children and youth ...). Students work four reviews of professional books from the menu and study additional literature or other professional publications focused on pedagogy of free time. Study literature and study aids
