Basic pedagogical categories and the relations between them. The process of education, its phases and principles. Position of general pedagogy in the system of pedagogical sciences.

System of pedagogical disciplines. Relation to other scientific disciplines. Terminology, explanation of the most frequent pedagogical terms and relations. aims and contents in various philosophies. Starting points when setting educational goals, their classification and concrete manifestation.
After completing the course, students should know: The pedagogic disciplines. Relationship pedagogy to other sciences. Terminology, explanation most frequently used pedagogical. concepts and relationships between them with respect to historical and comparative perspective. Aim and content of education in the various philosophical concepts. Basis for determining educational goals, its sorting and concretization.
