Course content
Introduction to problems of communication skills as a complex discipline and its application in teaching. Framework introduction to the basic concepts of: speech, language, communication (verbal, non-verbal / non-verbal, formal, informal), interaction, social communication, social perception, communication process, educational communication, voice professionalism, interaction style, self-reflection, monologue, dialogue, assertiveness pathological modes of communication, conflict.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Demonstration, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Determinants of social communication. Importance of interaction and perception for social communication. Personality types and their ways of behaviour. Expresiveness in communication. Importance of communication symbols. Empathy, suggestion, ingratiation, conformism, assertiveness. Communication competence. Communication skills. Stressors in interpersonal communication. Interpersonal communication breakdodwns.
Students should be able to explain the concept of communication and justify its relevance in today's society, enumerate and specify different types of communication and analyze rules that contribute to effective social communication. At the same time they should have all the skills to apply the knowledge gained in the evaluation of self expression and goal setting his personal development in this area. The practical part of the training would be through simulated situations to help get feedback on their performance and enable them to improve their verbal skills, nonverbalitu and style of dealing with people.
Prerequisites
Interest in the subject studied, corresponding scholastic aptitude, willingness to learn and actively collaborate in teaching.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Didactic Test, Seminar Work

Active participation in lectures and seminars. Preparation of the essay and its presentation (individual performance, or poster, lead a panel discussion) during the course. Independent study of literature. Compliance with the requirements of the final test.
