Course content
Working with pictorial material in foreign language teaching. Vocabulary development with regard to the age categories of pupils. Language games and their role in early foreign language learning. Strategies and learning styles. Working with pupils with specific learning difficulties in foreign language teaching. The use of modern information and communication technologies in foreign language teaching at primary school level 1. Online/online teaching.

Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization), Group work
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: - create appropriate activities for the development of language skills using pictorial material, - gain an awareness of the possibilities of vocabulary development in foreign language teaching, - analyse types of teaching materials for initial foreign language teaching, - create appropriate materials for initial foreign language learning according to predefined criteria, - learn new methods and procedures suitable for early foreign language teaching, - develop a project with elements of interdisciplinarity, - gain awareness of foreign language teaching for pupils with specific learning difficulties, - to be able to demonstrate and present their skills by presenting exercises developed for teaching pupils with specific learning difficulties, - be able to design a teaching unit for initial foreign language teaching.
Students are familiar with the basic terminology of didactics and methodology of foreign language. The student is able , on the basis of acquired knowledge to actively communicate , discuss and argue the thematic lines defined seminar.
Prerequisites
Active knowledge of German language, communication skills and creative thinking. An active approach to teaching students. Performance continuously given tasks.

Ongoing implementation of assigned tasks and participation in education. Create your own project in the applicable German language teaching at primary schools.
