Course content
Lessons are held in accordance with the basic textbook EM neu 2008 - Brückenkurs. Discussed lessons:L1: work and leisure, L2: family, L3: holidays, L4: school.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 14 hours per semester

  • Preparation for the Exam - 14 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 24 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should be able to express their opinion on situations that evoke themes of basic literature to develop language skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing skills, control specific grammatical structures in communicative situations and speech activities, process and present topic of foreign literature, understand and without preparation to participate in discussions relating to the world of work, family, holidays and education, use proper designation of German educational institutions (differences Germany, Austria).
By the end of the course, the student will have achieved level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference and the German Language Portfolio. Student is able, on the basis of acquired knowledge to actively communicate, discuss and argue the thematic areas defined by the seminar.
Prerequisites
Active knowledge of German language at the secondary level.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Student performance

80% active participation in class. Active participation in seminars, participation in the sub-tasks. Creating a quality of presentation of a given topic before the group.
