Course content
Model situations in teaching mathematics - motivation, presentation of the new curriculum, consolidation and evaluation of teaching effectiveness in particular school years (i.e. transition from the lower to the upper primary school, work with gifted and talented pupils and pupils with special needs, easing of the transition to high school) based on the experience gained during the student teaching own experience. Communication in the teaching of mathematics, teaching strategies.

Learning outcomes
This course provides a solid encompassment of the mathematical theory for basic schools. Methodological applications are emphasized.
The successful completion of the course is conditioned by the mastery of basic mathematical skills acquired in the courses of study and by the ability of the student to apply the aforementioned skills within the context of didactics.
