Course content
|
Students will acquire basic orientation in secondary schools mathematical education. The purpose of the subject is to enable students to acquire basic competencies needed for teaching mathematics at lower secondary school.

Learning outcomes
|
This course offers an overview of current mathematics teaching conceptions and it provides an analysis of the reflection of these conceptions in current mathematical education at basic schools.
The purpose of the subject is to enable students to acquire basic competencies needed for teaching mathematics at lower secondary school.

Prerequisites
|
The successful completion of the course is conditioned by the mastery of basic mathematical skills and by the ability of the student to apply the aforementioned skills within the context of didactics.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Analyssis of the Student's Portfolio, Seminar Work
Activities in seminars, handing in a portfolio by a given deadline.
