The Voice training and education is focused on safety singing with stable vocal technique. Our goal is that each singer leave the program with a solid foundation of healthy vocal technique combined with the freedom of musical and dramatic expression. Objectives: After completing the course, students should be able to - sing with a relaxed lower jaw, apply the principles of singing pronunciation (i.e. pregnant front pronunciation of consonants and sound and color equalization of vocals), - when creating a tone, proceed from head resonance (apply the mezza voce method), - work effectively on expanding your available vocal range and vocal volume, create sonically balanced tones in the range of lower, middle and upper middle vocal positions (including amphoteric tones), without force and audible voice defects, - apply the principles of costal-diaphragmatic breathing support within specific singing phrases, distinguish and correctly apply legato and staccato breathing techniques, - apply the acquired basics of singing technique in the performance of vocalizations and simpler folk songs. Completion requirements: 75% attendance. This course is taught on individual basis and is primarily designed for students of Department of Music Education. We can accept students from other departments only if capacity allows.
