|
The subject concentrates on selected problematic issues in the psychology of music. Special attention is paid to the taxonomy of music psychology as a scientific discipline, its main phases and streams, its principal personalities, the processes of perception and apperception of music, the musical development of individuals in its ontogenesis, and issues bearing on music psychology and pedagogy (musicality, talent, aptitude, skills, motivation, learning, diagnostics, transfer, musical creativity, etc.)
Knowledge covering the subject.

Student performance
The student prepares a written thesis and discusses: 1. one thematic area, which they choose from the structure of the field of music psychology according to I. Poledňák (POLEDŇÁK, I. Music Psychology. In Lébl, V., Poledňák, I. (eds.) Music Science II. Prague: State Pedagogical Publishing House, 1988.) or M. Fraňek (FRANĚK, M. Music Psychology. Prague: Karolinum, 2005). 2. The second selected music psychological topic, which deals with the content or methodological issues of their doctoral dissertation. The length of the written thesis for the exam is a total of 4 standard pages. The student also attaches a list of studied music psychology literature, which includes at least 10 titles. Three titles must be in foreign languages (A, N).
