Learning outcomes
|
The subject comprises important issues concerning the development of musical culture, especially in the fields of production, interpretation and reception, from the beginning of the 20th century up to the present day. Selected issues of contemporary music (music production) will be emphasized, especially their connected to the relationship between musical material and affect. It seeks also to explain musical modernism and postmodernism (incl. the genres of "non- artificial" music).

Student performance
Compulsory participation in tutorials (or seminars). Theoretical knowledge pertaining to the given issues, and if need be also the related practical skills.
