- The issue of the correct formulation of objectives of the research part. - Selecting the optimal method of the thesis. - Methodology of Educational Research. - Analysis , synthesis and comparison of the results of the thesis. - Working with the research results. - Implementation of the thesis , its processing. - Formalities thesis. - Completion of the thesis defense. - Solving problems in the context of the processing of the thesis.

Learning outcomes
|
The seminar introduces future teachers ? Masters degree holder ? to the issue of elaborating a Diploma thesis. The objective of this discipline is to introduce students to working with literature, using research methods, biostatistics, elaborating conclusions and interpreting acquired results. The most important form of work in this seminar are consultations about the contents and formal part of Diploma thesis. Only students, writing a Diploma thesis from the area of Health Education, are to register for this seminar.
After completing the course , students should be able to: - Specify a prerequisite for the proper processing of the research part. - Clarify dialing methods for optimal processing of the thesis. - Describe methods of data analysis. - Appropriate and properly interpret the results obtained during the processing of the research part. - Make a comparison and synthesis of the data obtained and the results of the thesis.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Seminar Work
Active participation in seminar (mandatory participation of 90%). PC work, Internet connection. Student prepares a bibliographic search, the topic of which will be oriented on the Diploma thesis, with literary sources stated in accordance with the standards for Bibliographic quotations. The extent of bibliographic search will be specified based on consultation with the teacher.
