Course content
Concepts of physical activities, prevention, sedentary behavior, the methods of testing in the health fitness, the rules of physical training given age, gender, the factors affecting of energy output, stretching and relaxation methods.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Training in job and motor Skils, Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
  • Attendace - 13 hours per semester

  • Preparation for the Exam - 16 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The task of the discipline is to provide students with a set of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of testing physical fitness, testing of physical activity, physical principles loading, programs of controlled physical activities; establishing possibilities of relaxation exercises and the importance for human's health with accent to specific profession.
After completing the course, students should be able to: - define and clarify the concept of Movement and health, - be knowledgeable in the field of health fitness testing, - suggest the programs of controlled physical activities, - emphasize possibilities of relaxation exercises and the importance for human's health with accent to specific profession, - apply the given information into subject in secondary education with interdisciplinary overlap.
Prerequisites
The assumption is mastering the subject matter of the course somatology.

Student performance, Seminar Work, Written exam

Active participation in seminars, processing a given task.
