Course content
|
The category of biological anthropology includes the following main anthropological disciplines: - Physical Anthropology is a fundamental anthropological discipline that examines the structure and function of the human body , the physical properties of members of different human groups , inheritance and biological changes in the human body. - Physiological Anthropology or functional anthropology is a field that is derived from comparative physiology . It deals with the study of relationships such as skin color and temperature regulation , variability in the intensity of the fundamental metabolic differences in susceptibility of different taste qualities , etc. It focuses mainly on the study of the effects of the external environment on humans , especially in the study of functional changes in humans. - Evolutionary Anthropology addresses the issues of phylogenetic and ontogenetic development. - Anthropology child is engaged in the study of biology only child, its ontogeny and peculiarities of physical structure and function of a child. - Palaeoanthropology ( prehistoric anthropology) is a branch of anthropology that deals with the evolution of man, his status and way of life , physical and mental characteristics in prehistoric times. It also includes the study of the development of animals standing closest person ( Primatology ) and animal ancestors of humans ( Hominoidea ) . - Historical Historical anthropology is a discipline that deals with a particular individual in history. It examines his actions , attitudes , feelings, thinking and trying to interpret them in the context of contemporary sensibilities. - Ethnic anthropology addresses the origin and evolution of human races ( breeds ) , deals with identifying and classifying the different anthropological types and their distribution in the past and the present. It also discusses the theoretical issues of human races and ethnic groups. - Differential anthropology studies the differences between different ethnic groups , ethnic groups and cultural areas. By comparing the differences is differential anthropology seeks to arrive at the formulation of basic cultural images , the most characteristic collective ideas about communal life and trace the roots of the current socio- political systems. - Morphological anthropology deals with descriptive state of the human body. - Systematic studies anthropology system hominids and humans in the classification of species. In general terms , also deals with the study of systems in the human society. - Zoological anthropology deals with a comparative study of humans and animals ( zoology and primatology ) and studying the characteristics of a human zoo .

Biological Anthropology / Physical engaged in the research of biological variability of human populations in time and space, humans as animal studies. Part of biological anthropology paleoanthropology, dedicated to the study of human development as a species and its evolution. Furthermore, ethnic anthropology that deals with races, race types and characteristics of ethnic groups, ethnicity, what is the overlap in cultural anthropology. The biological anthropology is closely related to ethology, the science that deals with the behavior of animals. It focuses on the relationship of inherited and learned factors in motivation and communication structures of each species during ontogeny and phylogeny. A separate sub-discipline of human ethology.
