Course content
Foreign language acquisition and learning, teaching methods and principles, communicative language teaching, classroom English, classroom interaction, planning teaching, heterogeneous classes, errors, assessment.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The aim of this introductory course is to provide students with the basic concepts of ELT methodology. It deals with both theoretical and practical issues related to teaching English, such as being a good teacher and learner, managing and describing teaching and learning, and principles of teaching language systems and language skills.

80% active attendance. Completion of all classwork tasks and/or passing a test - passing line is 70%.
