Course content
|
Topics: Introduction to selected websites and portals for English teachers. Working with online dictionaries, exercises on teacher portals, sites with video and audio materials for English teachers. Creating your own offline and online teaching presentations. Creating your own teaching materials with images and graphics. Creating your own wiki and blog. Creating your own interactive exercises and quizzes.Creating questionnaires, surveys, etc. Web browser options, the most appropriate ways to search the web, a list of sites to help English teachers Working with online dictionaries - explanatory, translation, special - picture, synonyms, antonyms, monolingual English dictionaries, etc. Working with wikis to put links and files on the net. Creating a basic web page to link to interactive exercises. Use of free hosting and domain to create your own site to support teaching.

Learning outcomes
|
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: - work with online dictionaries and portals for English teachers, - create their own interactive exercises for students, - create their own blog to support English language learning, - create their own online and offline teaching presentations, - create teaching materials with images and other graphics., - create custom files working with images, comics, online postcards, etc., - place your own files and links on the class wikipages, - create your own online presentations, use free hosting and domains for English teaching purposes.
