Learning outcomes

This course aims to broaden knowledge and awareness of theatre and the work of contemporary British and American playwrights. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to: -- orient themselves to contemporary theatre and film -- understand the basic structure of drama -- compare and evaluate a dramatic text with its theatrical interpretation -- interpret plays in relation to the current issues they address
