- various types of academic essays - strategies and procedures in academic writing (description, definitions and classifications, critical comparisons, argumentation, drawing conclusions, etc.) - planning, structuring, writing and editing an academic essay on a topic related to the study profile

After completing the course, students will be able to: - characterise in detail the different types of academic essays, - master various strategies and procedures in academic writing (description, definitions and classifications, critical comparisons, argumentation, drawing conclusions, etc.) - plan, structure, write and edit an academic essay on a topic related to the study profile.

Essay, Student performance
80% attendance, active participation in lessons, completion of tasks as assigned by the teacher during semester, timely submission of a final paper meeting teacher's requirements.
