Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: o demonstrate a basic orientation in English-language children's literature appropriate for teaching English to young learners, o use children's literature effectively in a variety of ways in primary English classes, o to understand and apply the basic principles of teaching English to children with specific learning disabilities, o to adapt and create supplementary teaching materials for pupils with specific learning disabilities in English lessons at primary school, o apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in practical teaching (micro teachings). Requirements for students with ISP: - students must complete all tasks set by the teacher during and at the end of the semester - attendance is not compulsory - at the end of the semester, students will be interviewed by the teacher to demonstrate that they independently acquired all the course content dealt with in the lessons
