Grammar and vocabulary from English File Intermediate Plus, lessons 3 - 4, knowledge of phonetic symbols

Learning outcomes
|
Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: - actively use vocabulary related to watching TV and films - have a command of vocabulary related to rural life - have vocabulary related to restaurants, DIY and repairing items - master and use correctly the grammatical phenomena: the present perfect simple and continuous, expressions of obligation, necessity, prohibition and advice - demonstrate knowledge of the English phonetic alphabet (IPA)
The student will be able to demonstrate the achievement of language level B1/ B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference and the European Language Portfolio.

Active knowledge of English.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance
- carrying out all tasks assigned by the teacher - active lesson participation - active self-study - hand in the assigned task; topics and formats will be specified by the teacher - passing the credit test (the passing line for the test is 70%)
