Course content
During their introductory meeting students will learn the basic terminology of this linguistic discipline. Learning on their own will be a basis of this course. Students can use the study materials "Morphology 1" and Morphology 2" which contain PowerPoint presentations, downloadable materials, exercises or links to various web pages.

Learning outcomes
The aims of this course are: to provide an overview of one of the linguistic branches - morphology; to introduce the terminology associated with the study of morphemes and words; to introduce all word classes and their grammatical categories with special emphasis on the typological differences between Czech and English.
