Textbooks suitable for teaching English in primary school, Adaptation and preparation of supplementary teaching materials and teaching aids. Effective work with language dictionaries. Revision and integration of the course content (KAJ/DIP1-3) in preparation for the final state examination.

Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: - assess the suitability of language textbooks and other teaching materials for primary school English, - guide students to work effectively with dictionaries suitable for primary students, - prepare supplementary teaching materials based on current needs and classroom situations, - adapt or design various types of teaching aids, - theoretically and practically master the main principles of the primary English language teaching methodology (revision and integration of the course content in preparation for final state examination).

Student performance
80% attendance, active participation in lessons, timely completion of all classwork tasks, timely submission and defence of a portfolio meeting all teacher´s requirements. Requirements for students with ISP: - students must complete all tasks set by the teacher during and at the end of the semester - attendance is not compulsory - at the end of the semester, students might be interviewed by the teacher to demonstrate that they independently acquired all the course content dealt with in the lessons |
