Learning outcomes
|
The course deals with various writing styles and genres of written language, both formal and informal, including letters, reviews, summaries, essays, and a curriculum vitae. In addition, students practice their reading comprehension skills. Special attention is paid to learning from mistakes through guided self-correction.

As there are only two classes, 100% attendance is expected (except for medical/other serious reasons). Punctual arrival and staying for the whole lesson. Active participation in lessons. Completion of all classwork tasks. Timely completion of all homework tasks set Language correction of all returned work as directed by the teacher If, for any reason, (including illness), you miss a lesson, it is your responsibility to ask your colleagues or your teacher about what was done and any homework that was set and to be fully prepared for the next class.
