Learning outcomes
This course will be conducted as a combination of lectures and seminars. The lectures will provide a concise survey of the development of British literature, from medieval literature to the end of the 19th century. The following seminars will introduce students to a representative selection of literary texts and develop their critical skills when analysing these texts. Students are required to study on their own and also read compulsory books and other recommended literary works.

Essay, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary)

Students are required: to read on schedule (shorter texts: short stories or poems and also several novels), participate actively in class discussions, read recommended books in English and be prepared to discuss them with the teacher, write an essay.
