Course content
Students will study a wide range of literary works representing both British and Commonwealth literature. The focus will be on feminist literature, postcolonial literature and on authors who were awarded major literary prizes.

The course will equip students with a sound understanding of contemporary British literature and contemporary literary theory.

Essay, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary)

Students are required: to read on schedule (shorter texts: short stories or poems and also several novels), participate actively in class discussions, read recommended books in English and be prepared to discuss them with the teacher, write an essay or have a presentation.
