Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to provide language practice through discussions over a few books/adaptations of books of mostly British authors. Students get an opportunity to develop mainly: - their speaking skills with respect to formulating and defending their opinion, presenting an argument, leading a discussion; - their critical thinking and background knowledge through the works both read and watched.

- attendance - at least 80% (70% ISP), - active participation during sessions, - timely completion of home-reading and home-/Film Club-watching, - moderating one session discussion successfully.
