The aim of this subject is to acquaint students with the basics of health and dental management, economics, legislation, ethics and social aspects related with health services provision with a focus on dentistry. The subject´s content are the basic principles of health systems in international comparison (in the Czech Republic and selected countries worldwide), global health, international cooperation in the field of health and dental care and methods of organization and management of health and dental care, including the basics of health policy, legislation and economics with emphasis on dental practice, including private practice. The basic principles of epidemiological research with emphasis on Evidence-Based Dentistry, including basic principles of best practice in clinical dental practice and prevention, are also presented within the framework of this subject. Practice the basics of effective communication includes also ethical principles in the work of dentists and other health workers in dental practice. Students are guided to the multicultural approach to people with different cultural and social experiences.
Po absolvování tohoto předmětu by studenti měli být schopni poznat a prakticky uplatňovat základní administrativu zubaře, vědět, jak přenášet důkazy o majetku, daňové doklady, důkazy o jejich utrpení a výdajích. Měly by také znát právní úkony, které se uplatňují na povolání svého asistenta, důkazy pro zdravotní pojišťovny, úřad sociálního zabezpečení a finanční instituce. Měly by být schopné provádět činnosti související s důkazy o příjmech a výdajích založených na daňovém zákoně a dalších důležitých právních aktech. Měly by být také schopny provádět činnosti spojené s placením svých produktů včetně možného využití médií, seznámit se s daty a návaly plateb, ekonomickou kontrolu. Další částí by měla být schopnost etického přístupu zubaře a znalosti etických kódexů, dilemat a rozhodování v ekonomické a každodenní sféře.
