Course content
|
The aim is to familiarize with theoretical knowledge and practical skills from pleoptics, orthoptics and strabology: Anatomy of oculomotoric system, central regulation of oculomotoric system, visual sights. Heterophoria. Amblyopia. Comitant strabismus. Paralytic strabismus. Special form of the strabismus - AV syndrome, Brown syndrome, DVD etc. Practical part: familiarization with diagnostic equipment and methods used in the strabology, participation in orthoptical and pleoptical training and surgery.

The aim is to familiarize with theoretical knowledge and practical skills from pleoptics, orthoptics and strabology.
Identify and diagnose the strabismic binocular vision problems. Explain relevant investigation methods. Analyse problem and propose suitable therapy.
