Course content
|
Recapitulation of anatomy of pupilomotorical pathway, pupil reactions. Neuroophthalmological examinations. Electrophysiological examination methods (ERG, VEP, EOG, EMG). Special examination methods (sono, CT, MRI, FAG). Chiasma diseases and relevant visual field changes. Nystagmus. Oculomotorical disorders of muscular origin. Ptosis, pseudoptosis. Changes of papilla. Headache and disorders of visual acuity.

The aim is to familiarize with theoretical fundamentals of neuroophthalmology.
Describe the anatomy of visual and pupilomotorical pathway. Classify important patology of the visual pathway. Explain relevant neuroophthalmological investigations.
