Course content
Hybrid glukose metabolism imaging using positron emission tomograpgy (PET) and computed tomograpgy (CT). Method indications, patients preparation, image interpretation.

Learning outcomes
Imaging of glucose metabolism distribution using positron emission tomography (PET) combined with computed tomography (CT), indicatios of the hybrid imaging method, preparing of patients, and results interpretation.
Student will acquire knowledge of PET/CT examinations and will be able to use them in the diagnosis and management of patients, particularly those with malignant tumors.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledges of radionuclide imaging.
