Parametric methods. 9.Non-parametric methods. 10.Analysis of categorical data. Chi-quadrate test. 11.Dependency measurement. Learning outcomes
|
The course consists of statistical hypotheses tests, categorical data analysis, chi-square test, dependence measurement, principles of linear regression, measurement of electrical quantities, sensing, transmission and processing of bio-signals, electromagnetic radiation, basics of electrotechnics, basics of molecular physics, nuclear physics, mechanics of vibration and waves, sound propagation, basics of optics and imaging methods, and demonstration of devices.
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic principles of new diagnostic and therapeutic methods and with the possibilities of statistical processing of medical data and to complete the knowledge necessary for the teaching of medical biophysics.
